The WTA Montreal Open has been a great game so far and I want to apologize for the days I’m missing. I've been dealing with my dogs with potential third cancer and it's very rough for me. So, I do apologize for the days I missed and I hope this giant column makes up for that. This is my best choice in all four WTA Montreal quarterfinals.
WTA Montreal opens
Kostyuk – Rybakina: Time 00:00
H2H: 1-2
Marta Kostyuk and Elena Rybakina had three previous games, two of which were played on hard drive. Although the two split evenly on the hard drive, Rybakina's victory on Clay gave her the advantage of the series. Rybakina last played the semi-final at Montreal two years ago, and her coin performance in 2025 strongly suggests it is a possibility. Rybakina has already won the title of Strasbourg this year, but Kostyuk has not won the game since 2023.
The best choice
If we strictly look at the statistics of hard-core, then Kostyuk is doing a shortcoming to Rybakina. Not only did Rybakina have more experience on hard drives, but she also lost roughly the same amount, and also won nearly 50 wins. Not only is Rybakina a favorite of the game, but most media think she will win the game with less than 2.5 sets. Pinnacle even offers 21.5 games for 1.9, and they also offer 1.55 times in Rybakina's matches, winning in less than 2.5 sets.
Having said that, Rebakina It must be a value bet, winning 21.5.
Value betting/best odds: Rebakina Win at 21.5 Game @1.9 @Pinnacle
Mboko – Bouzas Maneiro: Time 01:30
H2H: 0-0
Victoria Mboko and Jessica Bouzas-Maneiro will meet in Montreal for the first time. Bouzas-Maneiro will be the elderly woman in this game, even though she herself is only 22 years old! There is no doubt that Mboko is very talented and is the future of Canadian tennis. Many will look forward to a disappointing match after defeating Coco Gauff in the final round of Montreal. Bouzas-Maneiro had a beautiful match, but Mboko walked the tough road of the quarter-finals.
The best choice
Mboko is a favorite of this game because it happens on the hard drive. Mboko thrived in the 2025 hard game, defeating the game 16-2. Bouzas-Maneiro is a trivial 7-6. Mboko also ostensibly won two championships, although both are ITF tournaments. Either way, Mboko has five championships in 2025, while Bouzas-Maneiro has huge goose eggs in terms of total championships in that year. Even in the last ten games, Mboko has lost his big shot only outside of Wimbledon against Priscilla Hon.
Having said that, Mboko Winning 2:0 is definitely a value bet.
Value betting/best odds: Mboko Win 2:0 @1.85 @interwetten
Key – Towson: Time 00:00
H2H: 0-1
Madison Keys and Clara Tauson are the featured matches in this article…if Svitolina and Osaka don’t have seven games, the eighth game is scheduled. Key is one of the favorites to win this game, and she is the highest ranked player. Keys and Tauson held the quarter-finals on a hard drive earlier this year in Ouckland, New Zealand. Tauson won the game in a row, but won the game in the second set and the game has been very competitive. While this was Tauson's first entry in Montreal, Keys reached the final year in 2016, eventually losing to Simona Halep in a straight game.
The best choice
Ultimately, both women are talented hard match players. Tauson has a 2:1 win-to-loss ratio in his own career, and Keys himself is almost there, but almost three times the number of games is the number of games on the surface. These books view Towson as a minor loser, and I do agree. These digital guarantee keys are the most popular, but Towson's previous wins combined with her overall experience clearly show that this time Tason's win exceeded the victory.
Having said that, key Winning is definitely a value bet.
Value betting/best odds: key winning @1.75 @betfair
Svitolina – Osaka: Time 01:30
H2H: 3-4
The eighth professional match between Elina Svitolina and Naomi Osaka means it's a featured match for our best bet. Even more impressive is that every previous game they played on a hard drive, two of them in the Grand Slams, three of them in the quarterfinals or later. Both women are 14-5 in hard racing this year. In 2018, Svitolina managed to reach the semifinals in Montreal before losing to Sloane Stephens. Both ladies also won the clay championship this year.
The best choice
Despite the victory against Svetolina on hard drive and the final two games in a row, Osaka was the loser of the match. Osaka and Svitolina have scored 7-3 in the last ten games, both winning eight of the ten games in a row. I think this match ended with Osaka's victory. I went straight to Osaka in this game because Unibet brought her at 2.28, which was enough for me. I think Osaka has proven that she can handle the challenges Svetolina has brought and she has won her recently.
Having said that, Winning is definitely a value bet.
