Chris Hemsworth said in a conversation with the BBC that he wasn't sure where Thor finally arrived after Avengers 5. The veteran actor also revealed that Marvel Studios is still figuring out a place for Odin’s son in the MCU, which makes Thor 5 only possible at the moment.
“I don't know. We'll see this itinerary,” Hemsworth said of Thor's future in Marvel after the end of the world. He then added: “We are illuminating what we said, figuring out where each character is going. I'm just grateful for being in Marvel and coming back with a lot of old actors, then new actors.”
Hemsworth's comments about his character's MCU future and Thor 5 are prophesy in rumors that the death of the hammer-wielding superhero. Although Kevin Feige suggests that actors like Hemsworth will re-enable the “funny” actors for multiple projects, so far he has not shared any official words about the future of the character (via the deadline).
