Danielle Edwards decided that she wasn't right for her after playing senior basketball at the DI level for four years and competing with the best games. The five-foot-seven defender decided to get into the coach and the action! She started her career from Michigan, spending two seasons among the players of the Wolverine Women’s Basketball Program. Her responsibilities include assisting with day-to-day operations, academics and recruitment.
Afterwards, Edwards eventually joined the SMU Mustang coaching staff. She began serving as Director of Players in April 2021 and quickly upgraded to Assistant Coach and Recruitment Coordinator. Now, finally, Danielle Edwards works as a coach and recruiter at Rutgers. She also oversees the recruitment program for the Scarlet Knight.
