Jessica Pegula After losing only eight of the two games, it not only entered the U.S. Open third round. She also entered the world of podcasts with American tennis players Madison Keys, Jennifer Brady and Desirae Krawczyk.
Pegula talks about why the four decided to play a podcast called “Player Box” and why she hopes to get out of it.
💭: “We’ve all been very close for a few years. We always joked that we should start podcasting, but I think everyone says that and you never really do that.
“And we saw these guys start 'no big deal' and we're kind of like 'buds, if they can do it, we can figure it out. Like, come on. Seriously.'
“Yes, it was online yesterday, so it was a horrifying moment. So far, we've got really great feedback. It's just the fun we want to be friends. We feel we can provide some really cool insights for people who are still touring. We're all at the top of the game and have had a lot of hurt and hard times.”
