The two most accomplished women in mixed martial arts history will collide in November at Madison Square Garden.
It has been discussed for a long time, but it has been implemented now. Women's lightweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and Straw Weight Championship Zhang Weili will collide on November 15 at UFC 322 in Madison Square Garden, New York. UFC CEO Dana White announced the game on Instagram Live Thursday night.

During her second UFC champion reign, Shevchenko won a back-to-back title fight between Alexa Grasso and Manon Fiorot. Before she took the air, Weili was also in her second championship reign. She won five consecutive battles, including four championship wins on Carla Esparza, Amanda Lemos, Xiaoonan Yan and Tatiana Suarez.
Weili (26-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) has already vacated the Straweight Title after entering the lightweight title picture and will now snatch between two first two 115-pound contenders. Virna Jandiroba and Mackenzie Dern will compete for the open straw championship on Oct. 25 at Abu Dhabi's UFC 321.
Jandiroba defeated her contender after her first title battle. Winning Angela Hill, Marina Rodriguez, Loopy Godinez, Amanda Lemos and Xiaonan Yan. Dern won back-to-back battles with Godinez and Lemos.
