Exclusive: Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel serve as Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey as deputy director of the bureau, Fox News Digital learned.
Fox News Digital learned that Bailey will serve as co-director with Deputy Director Dan Bongino.
“I'm happy to welcome Andrew Bailey as a co-director of the FBI,” Bondy told Fox News Numbers. “He was a distinguished state attorney general and a decorative veteran who provided expertise and dedication to the service. His leadership and commitment to the country will be a huge asset as we work together to promote President Trump's mission.”

Bailey, as Missouri Attorney General, launched an anti-human trafficking task force and had more than 1,100 incidents in Missouri. He also cleared the backlog of evidence of sexual assault evidence (safety) kits to improve prosecution of sexual assault cases.
Bailey's office also defended the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and has been advocating law enforcement. Bailey is recognized by Missouri Fraternity Police.

Bailey's office also reported a 133% increase in criminal prosecutions at the trial court level.
Bailey also held public officials accountable during his tenure as Attorney General. He asked the sheriff to resign for financial mismanagement and misconduct and declared a separate prosecution against St. Louis County executives for theft and violation of election laws.

A senior administration official told Fox News Numbers that President Donald Trump “want to see bad people being prosecuted, illegally deported, and corrupt politicians being held accountable.”
“We need all the hands-on to achieve all these important goals,” the official said. “Andrew Bailey will be another reliable and experienced hand to help Attorney General Bondi and FBI director Patel carry out the president's mission.”

Under Patel, the FBI has arrested 19,000 people nationwide, twice the number of all arrests in 2024.
According to the FBI, 1,600 of them were arrested for violent crimes, including 270 for human traffickers. One thousand people were arrested from an investigation into foreign terrorist organizations, and three of the “top ten most wanted” were arrested in 2025.
Patel's FBI rescued 4,000 child victims – a 33% increase over 2025; seized 1,500 kilograms of fentanyl; and caught 6,300 kilograms of methamphetamine.

“President Trump wants to see the United States quickly become the safest country in the world, and he concentrates the best law and order in business to achieve this goal,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News Digital.
Bailey's joining comes in the expanding nature of Trump's legal and order agenda. As for the federal takeover of Washington, D.C., Bondy is responsible, and the FBI is playing an important role.
Bondi announced on Friday that the country's capital has had nearly 200 arrests since the Trump administration's federal government tried to resolve crimes.

Bondy said there were two homicide suspects, 17 suspected drug traffickers, 39 suspected illegal gun criminals and two sex predators.
