First up is Fox: President Donald Trump will host a roundtable at the White House on Wednesday afternoon to hear from independent journalists who have experienced Antifa violence firsthand, Fox News Digital has learned.
Fox News Digital has learned that Trump will participate in a “hearing” with Cabinet members, independent journalists and other government officials to discuss the radical left-wing group, which was recently designated a domestic terrorist organization.
“For too long, Antifa has been ravaging America's big cities while incompetent Democratic leaders turned a blind eye and most of the media followed their lead,” White House Press Secretary Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital on Wednesday. “Some journalists are brave enough to forge their own path and report the facts instead of following the groupthink of fake news.”
The roundtable came after Trump ordered the National Guard to Portland, Oregon, as part of his administration's ongoing efforts to rid America's streets of illegal immigration and crime. However, that order is currently on hold in court after a federal judge on Sunday temporarily blocked the administration from deploying troops to Oregon.

Antifa is a far-left radical movement that describes itself as an “anti-fascist” activist group. It has been accused of spreading violence through riots, most notably during the defunding police and Black Lives Matter riots in 2020, and more recently, Antifa-linked attacks on federal immigration officials and facilities as the Trump administration worked to deport millions of illegal immigrants.

Fox News Digital learned ahead of the event that Wednesday's roundtable will include Trump addressing the group before hearing from Cabinet members and independent reporters.
Cabinet members and administration officials scheduled to speak at the roundtable include Attorney General Pam Bondi, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, FBI Director Kash Patel, Deputy Attorney General Todd Branch, White House deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser Stephen Miller and White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt.

Fox Digital News has learned that independent journalists scheduled to participate in the discussion include Nick Sauter, Cam Higbee, Jonathan Choi, Andy Ngo, Katie Davis Scott, James Krueger, Savannah Hernandez, Nick Shirley, Brandi Cruz and Julio Rojas.
For example, Ngo has long covered Antifa riots and radical activity in Portland, Oregon, and other West Coast cities, and gained national attention in 2019 when he was attacked by a masked man during a Portland protest. He went on to write the 2021 book “Exposed: Inside Antifa's Radical Plan to Undermine Democracy.”
Salter drew national attention in October after he was arrested during a protest outside U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Portland. He was initially charged with second-degree disorderly conduct, a charge that was later dropped by the District Attorney's Office because Salter maintained that he had encountered two people with ties to Antifa before he was taken into custody.
“The White House applauds these independent journalists; we look forward to hearing from those who are seeing the facts firsthand and sharing the truth about violence, crime, and the failure of local Democratic leaders to address the issues,” Jackson added in an interview with Fox News Digital. “The fake news should be concerned, they could learn a thing or two!”

Levitt has repeatedly criticized the media when discussing left-wing radical groups, believing that mainstream media did not accurately report antifa violence.
“This is something that was promoted during the presidential campaign as we saw an increase in violence across the country caused by antifa militants who supported the group,” Levitt said when speaking to the media in September. “Unfortunately, it was widely covered by a lot of legacy media. It was also completely ignored by the previous administration. Not anymore.”
Cities such as Portland, Oregon, where antifa riots have previously occurred, are considered safe by Democrats and critics of the Trump administration, which has allegedly conflated terrorism with protests.

“Antifa recruits, trains, and radicalizes young Americans to participate in this violent and repressive political activity, then employs sophisticated tactics and mechanisms to protect the identities of its agents, conceal its funding sources and operations to obstruct law enforcement, and recruit additional members,” the executive order states.

“Individuals associated with and acting on behalf of Antifa further coordinate with other organizations and entities to spread, incite and promote political violence and suppress legitimate political speech,” the statement added.
