U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi boasted – Well, not doing a lot with gun seizures in Washington, D.C.
“We have arrested a total of 630 people now and 86 shots were taken in DC. 53 arrests were made yesterday, plus 24 ice arrests and 10 shots, arrested on the street. We are incredible that our marshal even helped recover a missing child,” Bundy wrote on X on Thursday morning.
Bondy is right about one thing: the task is not “slow down.” It didn't move anywhere at all. Law enforcement guns are at the same rate as last year, even with force proposed by the federal government.

This blatant pose has become commonplace in the past few weeks. The federal government wants us to believe that its influx of police makes the U.S. capital safer, when in fact, that's much more than the substance.
