The hotel, built near Sofi Stadium, is preparing to be ready before the Super Bowl, said its builder KPC Development Co.
As Ram's boss Stan Kroenke works hard to develop his work at the sprawling Inglewood in Inglewood, in the $300 million Kali Hotel near the $300 million Sofi Stadium.
The 300-room Kali is the only hotel in Kroenke's Hollywood Park masterplan, and the developer hopes it will be a preferred place for visiting football and basketball teams, as well as fans who come to see them play.
This week, builders placed the highest beam at the 12-story hotel completed in September next year, catching up in time with Super Bowl 61 scheduled to take place in Sofi in February of the following year.
Many developers have faced headwinds in recent months due to rising tariffs and labor shortages, and in some cases the results of immigration crackdowns have made the project increasingly challenging. KPC Development said it paid tariffs on windows, elevator parts and other imported building materials to avoid delays.
It is officially called Kali Hotel and Rooftop, the signature series, and it will join the Marriott Hotel’s signature series, which allows owners to customize their hotels while also having connections with the chain.
The hotel's name comes from its developer Kali P. Chaudhuri, whose KPC development company owns and establishes commercial properties in California and India. This will be the company's first hotel in the United States.

Among the previously known developments of KPC are the Riverside and Orange County hospitals and the 300,000-square-foot office campus in Corona, where the company is located. It established a nursing college and a 1,000-bed hospital in Kolkata, India. The company said KPC also built two residential projects in Kolkata, including a 74-story skyscraper.
The 300-room hotel will be built next to Sofi Stadium in Ingwood.

The hotel will be run by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, a company that manages hotels for its owners.
The Cali Hotel was designed by Lamar Johnson and built by Clayco.
“Although this will be our first hotel, we have planned to build more hotels,” Choudhury said while working at Kali.
The hotel's 34 suites are designed to attract sports and entertainment VIPs, ranging in size from 600 to 1,200 square feet, with some of the kits having oversized elements to accommodate professional athletes, such as the shower head 11 feet tall.
Kroenke controls nearly 300 acres of land around Sofi Stadium on the land occupied by the horse racing track. According to Kroenke, the complex will be 3½ times larger than Disneyland, making it the largest urban mixed-use development in the western United States.
