Season 1 of Vivian Medrano's hit adult animated music television series Hazbin Hotel Causing some serious animosity and competition. at New York Comic Con Hazbin Hotel During the panel, Prime Video released two new Season 2 clips, showing how the plot is heating up as Season 2 launches on Prime Video on October 29.

In the show's first season, fallen angel Lucifer Morningstar and conniving radio demon Alastor compete for the attention and loyalty of Lucifer's daughter Charlie (Erica Henningson), the show's do-gooder protagonist who wants to save sinners from hell and send them to heaven. Charlie's girlfriend Vaggie confronts her former Angels teammate Lute, who hates everyone in Hell and believes they deserve eternal death. Alastor and the TV Demon Vox battle for supremacy in Hell.

On top of that, Heaven—represented by Lute (Jessica Wask) and her boss Adam (Alex Brightman), the first person to destroy Heaven's demonic horde and now its leader—fights Hell, though it's a one-sided battle until Charlie steps up and Adam (spoiler alert!) ultimately dies. The first clip from the NYCC panel featured the song “Gravity” (now available on various digital music services), with Root blaming Charlie for Adam's death and vowing revenge. Specifically, she suggested that she kill Vaggie so that Charlie could understand what it was like to lose someone who defined her existence.

Tempers run hot in “Gravity,” but in the second NYCC segment, Vox keeps a cool head as he sees an opportunity to take control of Hell. In this video, he lays out his plan to his companions Valentino and Velvette – a plan that was first mentioned in the final song of Season 1, and then again in the Season 1 trailer and trailer.

The team also revealed more information about the scene Hazbin Hotel Broadway Concerts, a one-night event on October 20 in New York City. Erika Henningsen serves as host; series regulars Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Alex Brightman, Christian Borle, Jessica Vosk, Jeremy Jordan and Krystina Alabado will perform songs from seasons one and two. Stephanie Beatriz and Kimiko Glenn were announced to make “special appearances” at the event. Fans can request tickets online at the event page. A statement from Prime Video said the concert “will be available on Prime Video at a later date.”

Finally, the panel also announced a NYCC-exclusive collector's vinyl version of the Season 2 soundtrack, which can be ordered on the show's music website within the next 72 hours, along with CD and cassette (cassette?!) versions of the soundtrack.
