Swagger and Spark: Harrison Bader brings new advantages to Philadelphia – on Pattison

Harrison Bader is a bit backward.

Bader's hair, cut T-shirt and more fitting baseball pants bulges look great for Macho Row of the 1993 Phillies Club.

But it's not just his appearance.

“I like his presence,” said manager Rob Thomson. “He's a little bit exaggerated.”

They are not saying that Phillies don't have such people yet. But Bader's energy is a bit bad. More on your face.

This brings some energy to the Phillies, who didn't have it until he got it last month on the trade deadline.

The Phillies scored 15-7 as Bader and former Minnesota twin teammate Jhoan Duran arrived in separate industries on the deadline. They set up seven games in the NL East. Their offense began to come to life last week and has been very stable since then.

This is not attributed to Bader and Duran. Of course, Duran changed the appearance of the Philadelphia bullpen. Adding legitimate close-ups can do this for the team. But Bader struggled in his first 14 games with the Phillies. He started 11, but his number was disappointing – he only had 7 points of 41 (.171) and had 0.539 action.

But then Thomson talked about making a four-player spin on the right-winger and slightly improving the usage of the Bader, thus falling into Nick Castellanos’ game time.

In his last three games, Bader was 10 (.600) with a pair of 6 points.

The combination of feeling comfortable with a new team and a rising time in play may help.

Excellent…

“Maybe,” Bud said. “I’m trying to bring the straightest line to something that helps me work on the baseball field. If you want to over-analyze some aspects of it, maybe there’s something involved, but in the end, if I’m in the roster or I’m late into the game, expect the team to help the team win.

“The more you live in that dome trying to be a winning baseball player, I think good things happen.”

Bud said his nine years of experience in professionalism helped him take a more straight approach.

“I just tried to get rid of all the emotions and make it very simple,” he said. “It became easier over time. I've been around for a while, either alone or in a different team, and you've learned to shave off unnecessary time and spins that might involve trying to get back on track.

“The more experience you have after failure, and then immediately go back to that happy midline, the easier it is.”

Bud said he is a person who likes to analyze videos and different game situations and reflects on helping him make decisions.

Thomson saw from him that he impressed him, even if it was the price of someone who was used to playing like Castellanos.

“I'm trying to mix and match and keep everyone going and keep them going,” Thomson said. “It's hard to match people, but so far, everything is good. I think Bader has done a great job. I really like him.”

Townsend even praised his defense in the midfield. Calling it “Great” and saying that even if he doesn't have the speed of Johan Rojas, his high jump, expectation and route to baseball are elite, which makes him unique in defense.

So, the crazy scientist regular Thomson has been practicing in the outfield – mostly at work.

Castellanos scored 9-24 (.375) in the last six games, while Max Kepler scored 35 (.343) in the last nine games.

One of the most recent troubled people is Brandon Marsh.

His average has improved to a season-high .278 since spending four nights in Texas on August 8, and the Marsh has only one extra base hit (10 games) (10 games) in the last 15 games, falling into a 6-41 downturn (.146). He also hit 15 times, spanning twice in that.

“His luck is a bit bad, but he told me today that he really has to focus on it. [hitting the ball to] “Left center. So, at least he knows what's going on. He has to fix it.”

If not, then maybe there is a correct situation on the mound next time, the outfield will be Kepler-Bader-Castellanos.

The carousel continued to go to a few horses, some of which came down.

It seems like one with a cut T-shirt will progress in the ascending position.
