LAFC football player son Heung-Min threw the first game of the ceremony ahead of Wednesday's Dodgers against the Cincinnati Reds.
The newly acquired star has made an immediate impact on LAFC. Heung Min scored his first goal over the weekend to help LAFC win a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas.
He scored a helpless goal in his first six minutes of his third MLS appearance, giving LAFC (11-6-8) a lead.
LAFC will host San Diego Football Club on Sunday.
