Last week's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars unsurprisingly boosted confidence in the direction of the franchise. The percentage of Seahawks fans surveyed was 97%, which is higher than the already high 90%. At this rate, it would currently take a lot of effort to get it down to the low 90s.
The Seahawks' next game is Monday night against the Houston Texans, who may be better than their 2-3 record suggests and are healthier after their bye week. Despite Seattle's repeated defeats at home, a whopping 94% of respondents believed the Seahawks would win.
Our questions this week focus on the playoff picture. Seattle is currently in first place in the wild card but could lead the NFC West heading into the bye week with a win over the Texans and losses to the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. This will be a contest between the division's three teams, and the lack of a truly dominant NFC means the Seahawks' chances of earning the top seed aren't (at least for now) far-fetched.
Most fans polled believe the Seahawks will win the NFC West, but few believe it will be the No. 1 seed. Only two percent thought Seattle would miss the playoffs.
Is it too early for this playoff question? perhaps. But we'll check again before the Los Angeles Rams game in Week 11 to see how everyone feels at the time.
