Opposite before the season
This is the first time Chicago has opened its preseason on the road since the 2019-20 season. In the 2024-25 season, Chicago began its preseason, losing 4-2 at the United Center. Teuvo Teravainen found the back of the net, while Connor Bedard and Ryan Donato each recorded assists.
Bootcamp numbers
The current training camp lineup has 53 players, including 30 forwards, 17 defensemen and 6 goalkeepers. The Blackhawks opened training camps with 53 players.
