Sources say film marketing czar Josh Goldstine will be on Paramount to serve as the studio’s new global marketing and distribution head of new films, Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein, co-chairs of his new films.

Despite marketing for Greenstein’s title, it’s well known that former Sony Exec wants to play his sleeves in development since arriving at Paramount. Goldstine's new feature in the Melrose lot is that it will add distribution in its own field.
Marc Weinstock has led Paramount’s global marketing and distribution since 2019 Top Gun: Mavericks (US$1.49 billion). Weinstock is just announced to leave.
Although Goldstine is running a campaign for CA Studio in Burbank, it is trying to experiment with distribution dates during Covid. He can also boast about being behind Warner Bros' highest-grossing movie ever Barbie, Made globally by $1.44 billion. Other highs for Warners for Goldstine include legendary fares (coincidentally there is a distribution agreement at Paramount), and these photos are dune and monster Franchise and Beet beef.
Warners opened the door early in the year to Goldstine and international distribution head Andrew Cripp Sinner, battle after battle, Mickey 17 James Gunn's Restart Superman. Goldstine served as Warners' global marketing director from 2021 to January this year. During the Global Events from 2011 to 2018, he oversees campaigns such as movies Jurassic World, this Despicable me, perfect publicity and fast and Furious Franchise rights and Go out, split, sing, pet secret life, straightforward Compton and Fifty Shades of Gray. Also during his time at Uni, his team ranked first in the domestic box office with more than 30 movies. Snow White and Hunter, Ted, Bourne Legacy, Mom, Forgotten, Fast and Furious 6, Purge, Ride, Neighbor, Stupid and Dumb and the Oscars Sad Misérables. Goldstine helped Universal run at the box office like never before, leading to four out of five years in the company’s history. In 2015, the studio broke many records: the highest domestic, international and global box office in any year in any film studio's history; the first time any studio had three movies across the world's box office spanning $1 billion Angry 7, Jurassic World and lighting Slave; and six movies ranked first in the domestic box office.
Previously, Goldstine worked at Sony Pictures for more than 20 years, where he held various marketing positions including the president of creative advertising. He oversaw the campaign there Social network, original Spider-Man Sam Raimi's franchise, Casino Royale, Da Vinci Code, Jerry Maguire and Groundhog Day. One of the early film campaigns launched by Goldstine, with Francis Ford Coppola cutting the trailer, is Bram Stoker's Vampire Starring Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder.
