Nepal Skittle West Indies wins 83 in the historic T20 cricket series

  • by admin

The West Indies had only 83 new lows, and they lost the T20 series in Minnows Nepal, United Arab Emirates.

Nepal, ranked 18th in the world, has never played a T20 series against a full member state before this week, but has won three matches.

Windies' overall member state scores the lowest against the vice president, and the winning rate of 90 wins is also the largest against all members' assistants.

It was the second highest score in Test history and the worst score since 1955 after the West Indies' test team suffered a crushing defeat by Australia in July.

After losing the 3-0 series, cricket West Indies president Kishore Shallow called for an emergency meeting to review the series and received help from legendary former players Sir Wive Richards, Sir Clive Lloyd and Brian Lara.

They have not yet been qualified for the 50th World Cup in 2023 and are currently outside the qualifying round of the 2027 edition.

Nepal scored 173-6 in a 20-point match with a score of 173-6, with Jora hitting five sixes in Sharjah due to a 100-time fourth win partnership between Aasif Sheikh and Sundeep Jora.

The West Indies, ranked sixth in the T20 ranking, never chased, with only three batsmen reaching double digits.

They collapsed 63-4 in 12th, with only 83 points.

Nepal, coached by Australia's Stuart Law, will compete in the qualifiers for the 2026 T20 World Cup next month – they competed in the 2024 and 2014 Championships.

The series ends with the third T20 on Tuesday (BST 15:30).

Meanwhile, West Indies fast bowler Alzarri Joseph was excluded from the two Test series next month with a relapse of a back injury.
