Matt Rhule was so excited about his work in Nebraska that he wanted to tell as many people as possible.

The third-year coach made his weekly “House Rhules” podcast Thursday. He and his friend Anthony Gargano, the host of Philadelphia Radio Sports Talk.

“It’s a new world of college movement,” Ruler said Friday.

Rhule said he wanted to give viewers an internal observation about his plans and share his thoughts on college football, professional sports and popular culture, and more.

Rhule said podcasts can help build brands for football courses and universities, and are also a way for players who earn names, image and similar money.

Rhule already has a huge media presence. He often appears on other sports podcasts, and this summer’s Nebraska social media team produced Rhule’s short “prose” video.

In Rhule's first two years, the Huskers rose from 5-7 to 7-6, and he expects improvement this season. They played against Cincinnati at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri on Thursday.

Rhule said he will have to schedule extra work hours a day a week to do a quality podcast.

“Let's go there and hopefully attract interesting guests and do it all year round,” he said. “So we're going to do it until no one looks at it and then we're going to cancel it. If people watch it, we're going to do it, I'm going to do it.”
