Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrate with PDA after the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 World Series.

The Dodgers became back-to-back World Series champions on Saturday, defeating the Blue Jays in the 11th inning of Game 7. In a video shared on her Instagram Story, Markle, 44, and Harry, 41, watched the end of the game with their friend Kelly Mckee Zajfen, the former “Suits” actress.

The black-and-white video appears to have been filmed inside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's private theater room, with Harry and Zaiffin sitting on chairs while Markle screams with excitement off-camera.

Markle was later seen cheering, shouting “Oh my God!” as she walked over to Harry's chair and planted a kiss on his lips, while Zaifin applauded. She and Zaifin then jumped up and down and hugged. Meanwhile, Harry, still sitting in his seat, looked on, chuckling with interest.

While Markle and Harry have previously appeared to support the former actress' hometown team, Zaifin hinted that their loyalties are separate.

The Moms Alliance founder shared Markle's latest video on her own Instagram Story, writing, “Best game ever!!! Sorry your team didn't win but my team didn't win. @dodgers I love you!!!!”

However, some of Markle's critics on social media blasted her celebration video as inauthentic.

“Looks so fake,” one X user wrote in a “staged” GIF.

“Scripted,” another added, along with a string of dumbfounding emojis.

One critic wrote: “Full of fake showmanship! She just happened to set up the camera.”

“This is so irritating to see,” another added. “Fake AF. Of course it wasn't a staged shot because, you know, the camera was positioned to capture everyone perfectly. Oh my gosh! Look how happy we are and so in love with each other. Look, we have a friend, but that's not my drink.”

Another fan pointed to Zajfen's post, noting: “He's a [Dodgers] He was a Blue Jays fan the other day, but after the backlash, he is now a Blue Jays fan. A pair of clowns. “

Markle and Harry both wore blue Dodgers hats as they attended Game 4 of the 2025 World Series at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

While Markle is a Los Angeles native and a long-time Dodgers fan, Harry's support for the team surprised some fans, who commented online that they thought the royal family should support the Blue Jays due to Canada's constitutional ties to the United Kingdom.

The couple wore color-coordinated outfits during the game, with Markle wearing a white button-down shirt, a navy sweater draped over her shoulders, and dark trousers, while Harry wore a navy blazer over a white T-shirt, paired with dark trousers.

The couple were spotted sitting in the front row behind home plate, in front of baseball icon Sandy Koufax.

Harry and Markle's seating arrangement drew the ire of online critics as well as New York Mets broadcaster Howie Ross, who said Koufax should not take a backseat to anyone.

“How come Sandy is sitting in the second row?” Ross posted on X.

“Maybe these are his permanent private seats, but Sandy Koufax belongs to no one,” he added. “Especially at Dodger Stadium.”

Harry and Markle also sat in front of NBA legend and Dodgers owner Magic Johnson.

Koufax, 89, is one of the most decorated pitchers in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. Koufax, who was born in Brooklyn, spent his entire career with the Dodgers.

However, Koufax did not appear to be affected by the seating arrangement, as he was photographed interacting friendly with the couple.

Meanwhile, Markle shared a photo of herself with Harry, Johnson and Johnson's wife, Cookie Johnson, at the game.

“About last night. Dodgers game,” Markle wrote on the photo she posted on Instagram Story, fan site What Meghan Wore reported.
