We just got the following statement from Greater Manchester Police, providing more details about this incident:

A public called police to the Hebrew synagogue at the Hebrew church at 9.31 a.m. and was called by the public at 9.31 a.m. and noted that he witnessed a car driven to the public and a man was stabbed.
