After a period of Beta, the early access of Riot's Riot of Legend fighting game 2XKO is released on October 7, 2025.
This 2V2 fighting game features playable characters from League of Legends MOBA and animation series and Arcane and is open to all players on PC on this date without the need for invitation codes. There is no mention of the console in today's announcement.
Riot said the early visit time was Season 0 and the first debut of the tenth champion of the competition. Everything unlocked in early access, including champions, skins and mastery rewards, advance with the players.
In 2026, 2XKO will have five seasons, each of which will introduce new champions, along with fresh game content and progress rewards.

Executive producer Tom Cannon said the early visit “marked the beginning of the next chapter of 2xko.”
“Thank you for everyone who has joined our closed beta,” Cannon said. “Your energy and feedback have made the game even stronger, and now we are ready to take the next step. Early access is just the beginning and we can't wait for players to see everything we have in the store.”

Meanwhile, Riot announced its first impact and sponsored 22 community-led competitions in the Americas, Europe and Asia by the end of 2025. Each event will maintain community activities while earning Riot-sponsored POT bonuses.
If the duo wins first place in the first Impact Championship, they will claim a duo bounty, which is an additional $2,500 in the existing pot, also sponsored by Riot. Winners will also receive the exclusive local legendary player championship for their 2XKO account.
The first riot tournament will be the French EVO:2 NICE KO, organized by Mixup Crew, and will be held in Nice, France from October 10 to 12.
