The LCK Alliance entity and the Korea E-sports Association (hereinafter referred to as the association) officially announced a list of 31 individuals recognized as eligible as LCK certified agents for the 2025-2026 cycle.

The LCK certified agent program was launched in 2022, a system that selects and manages professionally competent agents to support smooth contract negotiation and execution of League of Legends Esports Esports Players.

Unlike last year, this year's certification requires a two-step process. The candidate was first reviewed in May and later obtained agent status for those who passed the certification exam held on Monday, August 11.

The certification exam is designed to enhance agent professionalism and differentiation while testing the basics of protecting player rights and conducting representation. The test consists of three subjects spanning seven areas:

  • LCK Certification Agent Rules Manual

  • Standard Agent Agreement

  • LCK Alliance Rules Manual

  • Standard contract for eSports players

  • Contract Law

  • National Sports Promotion Law

  • Sports Ethics

Candidates need a score of 60 or higher per subject to pass. Of the 48 candidates this year, 20 years old, the pass rate is about 42%.

31 LCK certified agents are authorized to operate from the 2025 List Announcement until the 2026 List Announcement includes 6 previously certified agents and 25 newly certified agents. Of these, 5 are linearly subjected to agents (for example, parents). The complete roster can be found on the official website.

This year, newly certified agents can serve up to two years. After one year, they can extend the activity period by paying an annual fee; once the two-year validity period expires, they must make the requirement through the same procedures as the new applicant.

This year, the LCK certified agent misconduct reporting center was also launched. Cross-report of misconduct between the front office of the LCK team, players, coaching staff and agents, whose main reportable categories include:

  • Activities for unqualified persons

  • Contract-related illegal acts, such as sub-letters

  • tamper

The association plans to enhance equity and effectiveness by working with the Sports Equity Commission.

LCK certified agents represent players and coaches of LCK and LCK CL (LCK Challenger League) in contract negotiation and salary negotiation (single designees), and they also handle negotiation and execution of other commercial agreements. This allows players to leverage expert support in marketing and negotiations and focus only on competition. On one hand, the league protects the rights of players and teams and maintains a stable esports ecosystem by actively intervening and approving agency-related violations or disputes. The system is operated by the Korea Esports Association as the eSports management agency, while the LCK Alliance entity supervises and supervises.
