BOSTON – Judge Aaron of the New York Yankees hit his 362nd home run Friday night, breaking the tie with Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio and finishing fourth on the franchise's all-time roster.

After two home runs tied DiMaggio with Donald Trump at Yankee Stadium to a game after commemorating the September 11th attack anniversary, the Yankees captain hits the green monster he saw from Boston's Lucas Giolito on the left central field at Fenway Park.

The 468-foot shot put New York beat Boston 4-1 as long-time rivals compete for a playoff position. The Yankees entered the night with half the game-winning Red Sox in AL East, behind the Toronto Division, both of which could be paired with universal cards.

The judge reached 362 home runs in his 1130th game. Dimaggio played 1,736 games and hit his last home run on September 28, 1951 at the end of his 13-year career, interrupted for three seasons due to his tenure in World War II.

The judge's 47th home run this season boosted his major league best batting rate to .324.

The judge broke the tie with Hall of Fame catcher Yogi Berra on Tuesday night's New York career list. Babe Ruth had 659 of 714 home runs with the Yankees. Mickey Mantle (536) and Lou Gehrig (493) were other Yankees before the judge.
