McCarthy and Kuropas revealed in May what they expected. They have been engaged since January 2024.
McCarthy, who finished tenth in the 2024 NFL Draft, missed all his rookie seasons when he returned from a knee injury.
Minnesota won 14-3 in the regular season, partly due to a revival Sam Darnold who signed with the Seahawks at the free agent agency.

McCarthy made his debut on prime time on Monday when he got rid of three-quarters of hardship to rally 27-24.
The former Michigan quarterback made two touchdowns and one interception. He is also eager to get scores.
“I felt calm from the beginning,” said Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell, who told McCarthy in the half, “You're going to take us back and win this game. ”

It was the confidence booth that changed the momentum and inspired McCarthy.
“Any such compliment or belief means the world. It just gives me the confidence to go out and just execute the game of the ball and have a quick, fast, decisive decision. It all worked,” he said.
