McCain quickly spread the post on Wednesday’s Instagram story. First, he wrote “work” with two sad emojis and then posted a video of him curling his 8-pound dumbbells.
McCain has 4.4 million followers on Tiktok – well-known for its easy posts on social media. Last year, he posted a video in the 76ers locker room with teammate Kyle Lowry, which took 7 million views.
The 21-year-old is about to compete in a rookie campaign, averaging 15.3 points, 2.6 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 23 games, winning him the Rising Star Challenge on the All-Star Weekend.
His season ended prematurely due to a laceration of the transverse meniscus on his left knee and required surgery in December. A month later, the Sixers excluded him from this season.
