BYU football was held Saturday night at Laville Edwards Stadium. The Cougars will play against the Portland Vikings in the 2025-2026 season.
Saturday is BYU’s season opener, with Portland State vs. Talleton State on August 23. The Vikings beat the Vikings with a final score of 42-0. Talton and Portland are both football club schools.
Saturday will be the second time for PSY, BYU meets on the football field, and was held in Provo in 2017. BYU won the game with a final score of 20-6.
