The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning to the Tucson area, which lasts until 7:45 pm on September 17.
Doppler radar and automatic rainfall meter show that thunderstorms produce heavy rain in warning areas from the northwest to central Tucson. It was raining between 0.5 and 1 inch. Flash torrents in life-threatening streams and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underground passages are in progress, or are expected to begin soon.
