'Crime' stars Ashley Flowers and Audiochuck quit SiriusXM to join Tubi

Top crime podcaster Ashley Flowers and her Audiochuck Podcast Network are exiting SiriusXM and putting down roots on Tubi.

Audiochuck has signed a multi-year agreement with the Fox-owned media company covering exclusive distribution and advertising sales rights for: crime junkie, America’s second most popular podcast, and “The Deck”, “Supernatural”, “Dark Downeast”, “Park Raiders” etc. The deal also includes the development crime junkie FAST Channel will be distributed on Fox streaming platforms Tubi and Fox One, third-party platforms and on-demand collections of video podcast episodes.

“This first-of-its-kind collaboration represents the next evolution of what independent media can achieve,” said Flowers, founder and chief creative officer of Audiochuck. “By joining forces with Tubi, we are not only expanding our reach, but redefining how true crime stories are experienced through audio and video. The move better positions Flowers crime junkie Video's popularity is exploding, and so are ad revenue. In February of this year, Audiochuck received a $40 million investment from Peter Chernin to expand the company's scale.

This appears to be Tubi Media Group's first direct podcast deal since Fox acquired podcast company Red Seat Ventures in February 2025.

Red Seat Ventures is Tubi Media Group's in-house creator services company with a strong true crime business, and its podcasts come from Chris Hansen (via catch predators fame) and Nancy Grace among its clients. Red Seat also operates CrimeCon, a convention for true crime and mystery fanatics. Red Seat will handle advertising sales for a range of Audiochuck shows and podcasts.

It's unclear how much of an impact the departures will have on SiriusXM, which uses its popular podcasts to fuel its massive podcast ad sales arm.

This podcast is even more popular than Cooper's call her daddyranked fourth. Flowers launched crime junkie In December 2017, the goal was to “redefine true crime content” through research storytelling.

It is now supported by more than 20 full-time writers, fact-checkers, researchers, and editors who analyze and investigate more than 50 cases simultaneously. Audiochuck is an independent media company with nearly 1,000 cases reported over its history. Audiochuck has a team of 100 people and is headquartered in Indianapolis, where it produces more than 18 original shows.

Flowers signed an exclusive agreement with SiriusXM in 2021, giving the company exclusive rights to advertising sales crime junkieas well as all shows on the Audiochuck network, including Anatomy of a Murder, Counterclockwise and park raiders. She also has an Audiochuck channel on the SiriusXM satellite subscription service. Leaving SiriusXM is believed to be a mutual decision; the parties were unable to agree on terms of the deal.

SiriusXM President Scott Greenstein previously said hollywood reporterthe company looks for shows with large, profitable audiences and potential for growth, and evaluates metrics such as downloads, ad revenue and social media buzz when evaluating shows, and develops contracts with download floors and metrics that podcasters must meet.

The company also faces questions about whether popular satellite radio host Howard Stern will renew his contract.

In other Audiochuck news, the company is preparing to launch a new podcast next month. Audiochuck debuts in partnership with Campside Media chameleona series that promises to explore “the fascinating and often shocking world of people pretending to be someone they're not.” Think of the charlatans, charlatans and deceivers who operate in plain sight. chameleon Two episodes launch on November 13, with more episodes coming every Thursday.
