Ciara's son Future's last name seems a bit confusing

Ciara is one of many celebrities to open the U.S. Open this week in New York City, bringing her two older children to the celebration, the 11-year-old future and the 8-year-old Sienna.

Husband Russell Wilson is sure to show love to his wife and children on social media on Thursday (September 4), reposting an Instagram story FashionSays about family participation in tennis.

Although most people are nothing more than a sign of affection, others are starting to question Son Future's last name because Wilson is his stepfather and rapper Nayvadius “Future” Wilburn is his biological father.

This allows the young future to share the same last name with his family while maintaining contact with his biological father.
