Charlotte opened up about the moment on Elizabeth Day's podcast after a clip of her appearance went viral on social media.

During this segment, Charlotte was invited to host a five-minute sound bath session on This Morning.

Unfortunately for Charlotte, however, Alison found it all a bit too much and found herself laughing and cringing throughout the clip while Charlotte did her best to carry on.

Charlotte revealed she was furious with Alison afterwards, admitting the moment really moved her.

When Elizabeth asked if she was “bothered” by Alison's reaction to her sound bath, Charlotte said: “Oh, it upset me.

“That immediately crushed me.”

Elizabeth then added: “Yes. I have feelings for you.”

Charlotte continued: “I've seen Alison Hammond A lot of times, she's a wonderful woman.

“I think the 'let's do a five-minute sound bath on national television' part was a misjudgment on my part. It makes sense. Yeah, let's get on with it.”

“I think it was a misjudgment on my part, but I think what pissed me off the most was that I had the opportunity to showcase, demonstrate and represent this amazing sound healing art or sound ritual, or whatever way people want to describe it, and then it turned into an interesting character.”

In a further candid confession, Charlotte added: “It really touched a deep wound in me.

“I was like, 'Well, I really like you, Alison, but screw you'.”

The awkward moment was broadcast live on ITV last year, with Alison giggling during a sound bath ceremony.

Charlotte asked Alison and her partner Dermot O'Leary to lie down in order to immerse themselves in the ritual and the healing power of sound baths.

The Welsh singer became a fan of the experience after running her own sound bath as part of her exclusive getaway in Wales.

Charlotte sang and made noises throughout, but Alison was forced to put her hands up over her mouth to stifle the giggles that erupted in the TV studio.

Dermot managed to keep a straight face while Alison was forced to apologize at the end of the show.

The host said at the time: “I'm sorry… I think I was rude.”
