The touted middleweight prospect Bo Nickal has booked his first fight since he returned to action at UFC 322 in New York earlier this year.
The three-time NCAA champion wrestler will face Rodolfo Vieira between two top grippers. Vieira is a multiple-time catching champion, including a gold medal in the prestigious ADCC Championship when she won the championship in 2015.
Vieira, who has been 3-1 in the last four outings, will hope to increase his record when he clashed with Nickal in November.
As for Nickel, he entered the UFC as one of the hottest signings after only three professional battles. He started his UFC career with four straight wins, but then suffered a knockout match by De Ridder in May.
Also on the card, Roman Kopylov returns to action against Gregory Rodrigues in a middleweight battle.
Dana White's contender series favorite Baisangur Susurkaev also fought a new battle when he took over Eric McConio in the middleweight battle in the card. Susurkaev won the Contenders Series to win the UFC contract before making his debut a few days later when he filed Eric Nolan at UFC 319 in Chicago.
Jack Della Maddalena will compete for the welterweight belt against former lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, with UFC 322 going to be titled with two championship matches.
