Although workplace romance has long been common on TV, Ayo Edebiri intends to do it for her Bear The role makes it strictly professional.
The Golden Globe winner recently spoke about the on-screen chemistry between her character Syd and Jeremy Allen White's Carmy and explained why the couple ended up “so crazy”.
“I think we've been saying it [Season] 1, but I don’t know if people are starting to believe us now. ” she told Vanity Fair. “I do think that like seeing people really have passion or doing well in something, it gets excited and recharged. It's hard to talk about because we're never going to be right. I don't know, my job is to do this and then how you explain how it explains it.”
Edebiri added: “But I do think it's professional and I think if anything happens, it's not the show we're doing. I think it's crazy, too. The guys are crazy, that girl is a bad communicator! The restaurant will blow up for three seconds in three seconds, if anything happens.”
The FX On Hulu series was created by Christopher Storer and followed the young fine restaurant Carmy back to Chicago near to run a family sandwich shop after the death of his brother Mikey (Jon Bernthal). With the help of his new Sous-Chef Syd, Carmey turned the restaurant into an upscale venue.

On the show, Carmy had a previous romance with childhood friend Claire (Molly Gordon), but the couple broke up in Season 2. She returns in Season 4, during which time they seem to have some unresolved feelings.
After the fourth season premiered in June, FX renewed its fifth season in July.
