He last appeared at court around 9:45 pm on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, heading south on Interstate 55 near Kentwood, the state's 2011 white GMC Yukon. Cooper is a black man with light skin with brown eyes and short hair. He is 3'2 inches tall and weighs about 40-50 pounds. Cooper wore a red shirt, black shorts and blue crocodile shoes for the last time.
James Mercier is a white male with brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5'9 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. Mercier wore black pants without a shirt for the last time, but he held a white or grey shirt.
Mercier and Cooper are believed to travel with Mississippi license plate PJT070 on the 2011 White GMC Yukon.
