Wilson accepted her offer and ended up sleeping “for 13 hours” — something Lambert, 41, grew increasingly worried about.

“Good Horses” is featured on Wilson's latest studio album, whirlwindwhich will be released in August 2024. They also released “Trailblazer” in May with Reba McEntire.

Elsewhere in the conversation, Wilson spoke of their friendship and said they had “a lot in common,” especially a “love of the Western way of life.”

“We also like to go home, put our feet up and fill our glasses so we can go back and pour them out,” she said.

She added, “But she's always been that voice here that's like, 'You can't do all this. You can't do all this. You have to go home, you have to saddle your horse, you have to make sure you shovel shit on the farm and do all the things that make everything else worth it.'”

After the release of “Good Horses,” Wilson said writing with Lambert and Luke Disick felt like “home” and that she would “forever cherish” the day they wrote the song in a press release.

“The Good Horse is all about finding your way home no matter where you are,” she added.

“'Good Horse' is about anyone who loves the comforts of home but also needs freedom,” Lambert added. “Lenny and I wrote this song on my farm with Luke Dick. Lenny is a genuine and real person. I love watching her dreams come true before our eyes, and it's so cool to be a small part of it.”
