Federal health officials warn that more than 2 million pounds of ready-to-eat Korean pork jerky products shipped to Costco and Sam's Club stores nationwide are being recalled due to concerns about possible contamination from metal fragments.

South Dakota-based LSI Inc. is recalling its jerky products labeled Golden Island Fire Grilled Pork Jerky Korean BBQ recipe after multiple consumers reported finding wires in the products, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said in a warning notice Saturday.

The company discovered that the metal found in the product came from conveyor belts used in production.
