After the first bye week of the season, Arkansas, now led by interim head coach Bobby Petrino, will travel to Knoxville, Tenn., for an SEC showdown with No. 12 Tennessee. Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, October 11, at 3:15 pm (CT) from Neyland Stadium.
1 – DL Quincy Rhodes Jr., The North Little Rock, Ark., native leads the Hogs in tackles for loss (7.0) and sacks (5.0) through five games this season. Rhodes Jr. has had two multi-sack games this year, becoming the first Arkansas linebacker to have a multi-sack game in a season since linebacker Drew Sanders (2) in 2022. Rhodes ranks seventh nationally in sacks per game and seventh nationally in sacks per game.
2 – QB Tyron Green (2,069) is one of three active FBS quarterbacks with more than 2,000 career rushing yards, joining Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pavia (2,526) and Colorado State quarterback Cayden Salter (2,208).
3 – WR Omega Black is Arkansas' top receiver through five games and leads the Razorbacks in all major receiving categories: catches (30), receiving yards (399), receiving touchdowns (3) and receiving yards per game (79.8). The Charlotte transfer had a touchdown reception in each of the Razorbacks' first three games of the season, becoming the first Arkansas receiver since WR Matt Landers in 2022 to catch a touchdown in three consecutive games.
4 – The Hogs have won four straight games against the Vols (2011, 2015, 2020 and 2024), including the last time the two teams met in Knoxville in 2015. Arkansas' four-game winning streak against Tennessee is its longest winning streak against an SEC opponent.
5 – DB Julian Neal The star of the Razorbacks' secondary, he leads Arkansas in interceptions (2) and pass breakups (5) through five games this season. Neal ranks 17th nationally in interceptions per game (0.40) and ninth in passes defended per game (1.40).
6 – Bobby PetrinoThe Razorbacks' second-year offensive coordinator was named interim head coach on September 28, 2025 for the remainder of the season. Petrino served as Arkansas' head coach from 2008-11 and returned last year as offensive coordinator. During his first tenure as a head coach, Petrino led Arkansas to a 34-17 record, 17-15 SEC record, back-to-back double-digit wins in 2010-11, and appearances in the 2010 Liberty Bowl, 2011 Sugar Bowl and 2012 Cotton Bowl.
7 – through five games, QB Tyron Green Leads the nation in total offense yards (1,839) and total offense yards per game (367.8). Green's 12 passing touchdowns rank eighth nationally.
8 – The Razorbacks have scored 204 consecutive extra points dating to Dec. 5, 2020, the second-longest streak in the country behind Northwestern (October 24, 2020). Freshman kicker Scott Starzyk has made 25 scoring attempts this season.
9 – Arkansas ranks fifth nationally and second in the SEC in third down conversion rate, converting 57.9 percent of its attempts.
10 – Bobby Petrino Is the fourth interim head coach in Arkansas history. Joe Kines (1992), Reggie Herring (2007) and Barry Junney Jr. (2019) have also held the title. Cairns was named interim head coach after the first game of the 1992 season and played 10 games during his tenure, including Arkansas' first win in the SEC and Tennessee's first win. Under Cairns, the Hogs posted a 3-6-1 overall record, including a 3-4-1 record in conference play. Herring, who is 0-1 as interim head coach, served as interim head coach in the 2008 Cotton Bowl, when Arkansas lost 38-7 to Missouri. Lenny Jr., who went 0-2 as interim head coach, was named interim head coach for the final two games of 2019, losses to SEC opponents at LSU and Missouri.
