During occurrence Jimmy Kimmel live broadcast! On Wednesday, September 10, Cranston, 69, discussed taking the drug recently to try and prepare for his role as Continental Studios CEO Griffin Mill studio.
Griffin received high reviews on Mushroom Chocolate in the star-studded Apple TV+ Show. However, Cranston admitted that he didn't know what that would be like.

He said he decided to contact studio Co-creators Seth Rogen and Costar Ike Barinholtz provide some advice.
“So I asked Seth Rogen and Ike Barinholtz, 'You guys are huge medicines! What can you tell me?” Cranston recalled, adding that they told him that the best way to start was to reduce the amount of the spot.

Cranston admitted that he then had a great opportunity to try these drugs for the first time.

Cranston says he studio Costar Catherine O'Hara, 71, was also involved, but they were “nevered” about it and they were “catching each other” and walking back and forth whether they really wanted to try it.
“We're nervous. Ike Balinholtz is our drug dealer. Can I say that?” Cranston questioned, adding: “He said, 'I'll take care of you.' I said, “I've heard of it before! ” “

“Nothing! Nothing!” Cranston mocked and angry.
When Kimmel questioned whether Microdose was surprised, he added: “No! I'm angry now.”
The host joked, “So you’re really a great actor, and it turns out, it’s all a show”, and Cranston’s character took drugs after showing the relevant scenes earlier in the interview.
The actor insisted: “This is a performance. I don't know what I'm doing.”

Cranston's appearance comes after he won the outstanding guest actor in the comedy series studio Saturday, September 6, at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
He did not attend, so Gwendoline Christie, who served as host, accepted the award on his behalf.
