Egan, Minn. – The Minnesota Vikings lost at least a month's guard Blake Cashman after a hamstring injury suffered in a team's 27-24 victory over the Chicago Bears on Monday night.

The Vikings will see Cashman (their main defensive signal summoner) and Thursday’s injured reserve run/kick return player Ty Chandler (knee), equalizing the situation for at least the next four games.

They are also watching Safety Harrison Smith (Personal Health Issues), Left Tackle Christian Darisso (Knee), Linebacker Andrew van Ginkel (Concussion Protocol), cornerback Jeff Okada (Concussion Protocol), tight end Josh Oliver (Ankle) and center Ryan Kelly (Toe) to see if they can play Sunday night games and if this can play Sunday night games.

Cashman was injured Monday night while chasing Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams. He will likely be replaced in the starting lineup by veteran Eric Wilson, who the Vikings signed as a free agent in the offseason. The Vikings also signed Nick Vannett of their practice squad, which could indicate Oliver's availability.

Meanwhile, cornerback Tyrek Funderburk and defender Sione Takitaki were signed to the practice team.
