Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are talking about the unusual characteristics of their home.
During an exclusive interview with people during daytime talk shows, Living with Kelly and Markon Tuesday, September 2, the couple revealed they had an all-black bathroom – complete with black toilet paper.
“Someone – as a gift, is a joke, saying you need black toilet paper.”
She added: “What do you know? It actually looks normal because the white toilet paper looks really weird.”
However, Consuelos disagreed.

Ripa then interrupted, “No one really uses that toilet”, prompting her husband to answer, “I have.”

Ripa said in the video that the townhouse where the family lived for more than 12 years was their “favorite place on Earth.”
“We have moved several times in our lives, but wherever we go, it's my forever home,” Ripa said. “When I walked into it, I was like, 'This is the last place I'm going to live.' I really like this house.”
Consuelos quoted the large mirror on the wall across from the bed and said, “Don't think we're crazy about putting a mirror in front of the bed. It hides the TV.”
Ripa then joked, “Yes, we don't stare at ourselves. We're watching Judge Judy Here. ”
Ripa said during the tour that she and Consuelos had no plans to leave.
“I don't want to make a sick sound, but they have to take me out because I'm getting good and comfortable in this house,” she said.
This year, Ripa celebrates her 25th season live. In a conversation with people on site, she recalled that Consuelos told her backstage before the premiere of season 38 on Tuesday: “It doesn’t feel that many seasons.”

Consuelos joined the show as his wife’s co-host in April 2023, replacing Ryan Seacrest, who has co-hosted six seasons with Ripa since 2017.
