Tallahassee, Florida. – Florida State University's No. 14 football team defeated East Texas A&M 77-3 at Doak Campbell Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The Seminoles (2-0) made a touchdown on their first 10 drives, the first game in the planning history. Florida State scored 77 points for the first time since defeating Delaware 77-6 in 2017. FSU also plans to record the championship with a maximum win rate of 74 points and score 11 points in the game with 11 points.
The Seminoles' 416-yard offense in the first half was the highest for any team in any country this season. Florida State ended the game with a total of 729 yards, which is the 771 total since 2000 against Clemson.
Wide receiver Dus Robinson Set a single-game career-high with five receptions, 173 yards of receiving yards and two touchdowns. His 160 yards in the first quarter broke the FSU record.
Run back Gavin Sawchuk Three finishing areas were found in the first half, with a total offense total of 88 yards. Sawchuk completed two sprint touchdowns and his final touchdown swept. Quarterback Tommy Castellanos Completed 8 of 11 passes for a total of 237 yards and 3 touchdowns. Castellanos has more than 4,000 professional pass yards after completing 19 yards to Robinson later in the first quarter and now has 4,078 yards in his career.
The Seminole defense released nine tackles, three sacks and two interceptions. Florida State has recorded at least 5.0 TFL in 13 consecutive games, the longest winning streak since 42 campus recordings from November 8, 2003 to November 25, 2006. The Seminoles ran for 13 yards in the afternoon with the 11th and last touchdown Zai Parkhis first Seminole.
