Well, we have good news: Your favorite family has been replayed in their third season. Yes, the camera has started to roll in Season 3 of the adorable teen drama – even premiered before Season 2! See Rodriguez, Lalonde and Gentry share the good news in the video below.
And we don't have to wait too long to see the new episodes. Season 3 will premiere in 2026. “We have a lot to do,” Showrunner, creator and executive producer Melanie Halsall told Tudum.

Season 2 ends with our character’s huge cliff boom. At the last moment of the finale, Cole finally admits how he really feels about Jackie. He loved her and he was tired of fighting it. And shock! She told him that she loved him.
But there is a complicated problem: She and Alex meet secretly in the second half of the season. Just like Cole and Jackie are about to kiss, we find Alex listening to their conversations all the time.
Before they get it out, Alex and Cole's older brother Will (Johnny Link) arrive at an ambulance not far from the ambulance: it's about their father, George (Marc Blucas). Then we cut it black!
Entering season 3, Halsall wants to see what happens between Jackie and Cole and between Alex and Cole. “At the end of Season 2, it's a big revelation and we can't ignore that,” she told Tudum. “She can't bounce between two boys, either. How we solve this will be a very interesting challenge, and I'm looking forward to that.”
Gentry, along with his co-star, certainly wonders what will happen to the next one of the three. “I don't know how they will recover from all the trauma that followed,” he said. “You want to talk about an elephant in the room, which is a huge elephant.”
Halsall also longs to see a new romance between Kiley (Mya Lowe) and Dylan (Kolton Stewart). “I want to see how it affects Alex,” she said.
Entering season 3, Halsall hopes to see what happens when Cole has coached his soccer team to win, while Alex joins Rodeo, his coach (and pseudo-love interest) Blake (Natalie Sharp) father sponsor.
The performers have not forgotten Jackie’s goal to become president of the student group. “We'll look at that and how she handles the consequences of Alex and the family,” she said. Halsall also knows the importance of Jackie fostering her friendship with Grace (Ellie O'Brien) after Jackie had a heart for each other in the Season 2 finale, who Jackie admits she takes her best friend for granted. “Grace is the one who has been helping Jackie, but she doesn't seem to need anything,” Halsall said. “She does have her own needs and Jackie has to be aware of that, too.”
While filming Season 1, Halsall told Tudum that she had high hopes for the life of the series. “I definitely still believe that,” she said. “I love the teenager stories and the work we do with those characters. But I think we have a lot of potential to tell intergenerational stories. I'd love to be able to do more in Season 3.”
Some adult relationships in Halsall are curious, including the vitality of coaching counselor Tara's (Ashley Tavares) with English teacher Nikhil (Moheb Jindran), and her flirting with Jackie's Richard (Alex Quijano), who finally came up with this in Season 1, Season 1. “It’s a storyline that I really want to follow,” Halsol said. The creator also considered the potential storyline of Will's wife Haley (Zoë Soul), who worked primarily in Chile this season and worked on a master's thesis, Grace's mom Joanne (Janet Kidder). “This is very good [Walter matriarch] Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) has a friend. I want to see more. ”
Ultimately, Halsall laughed at “there is a lot of potential.” What we want to say is, Yeehaw! ”
