Harris County, Texas (KTRK) – Harris County deputies are responding to two high-water rescue calls as the storm impacts the Houston area, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Ed Gonzalez shared that one of the calls was southwest of Corta Calle Drive and Bellaire in southwest Harris County, where the seemingly occupied vehicles were stagnant in high water and it was rising.

A second call was reported in Mar Vista and Camino del Sol, but no other information was shared.
