The UFC 319 pay-per-view event lost three battles in two days for various reasons.

Arguably the most shocking loss occurred Friday when Bryan Battle (12-2) missed the 4-pound middleweight limit. The scheduled round of the battle against Nursulton Ruziboev (36-9-2) was eventually abandoned due to a weight error. This is the second consecutive battle that missed the weight of the UFC appearance, although the last time was in the middleweight division in December. Despite lifting the entire weight shift during Saturday’s game, the battle still lost a lot.

The 30-year-old fight was outstanding in the octagon with a 7-1 score in the UFC.

UFC 319 also lost the middleweight finale of the “Ultimate Fighter”. Rodrigo Sezinando-Daniil Donchenko no longer fights for the Tuf ending due to injury to Sezinando. The round will be rescheduled later. The fan favorite lightweight match between Diego Ferreira and King Green was also cancelled this week. Green revealed through social media that he was forced to turn down the card due to his injury.

Fortunately for the UFC, the middleweight title battle between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev is still intact. Both fighters weighed Chimaev on Friday at 183 pounds, two pounds lower than the limit. UFC even has middleweight contender Caio Borralho as a backup, although his services are not needed now.
