Driver died; 2 Oregon adults and 4 children were hospitalized after a frontal crash in Deschutes Co.

Oregon County Oregon (KPTV) – Oregon County Oregon County Oregon Police Department says a person died and a group of people in Oregon suffered serious injuries after a head-on crash in Deschutes County on Thursday, Oregon State Police Department said.

Before 10 p.m., officers responded to a two-car crash on Highway 97 near Milepost 145.

A long-term family was shaken by tragedy a few days ago when a 64-year-old woman was murdered in her home.

According to OSP, Felicia Devin Nicholson, 33, of Bend, was driving the Honda Accord North while drifting in the central lane. Nicholson directly hit the Honda Odyssey facing south.

Nicholson died on the scene.

A 46-year-old Odyssey driver from Oregon suffered minor injuries. Five other passengers, a 45-year-old Oregon woman and four girls, 17, 14, 11 and 9, were seriously injured.

The injured Honda Odyssey driver and passenger were taken to the hospital for treatment. No more information about its current status was published.
