Exiled Russian journalist told Fox News “refers Cain to say Trump speaks in Putin's narrative”

  • by admin

An exiled Russian journalist told Fox News: “It will be Cain, he believes President Donald Trump “talks” in the “narrative” of Russian President Vladimir Putin when discussing a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

Television Rain editor-in-chief Tikhon Dzyadko joined Cain on Monday night and expressed doubts in Putin to comply with any terms of the peace agreement, noting that Russia violated Crimea in 2014 despite its breach of 1994 Budapest memorabilia. Cain questioned whether any agreement would satisfy Dzyadko, who fled Russia after being declared an “unpopular organization” by the Russian government in 2023.

Trump recently met with Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to negotiate a peace deal to end the Russian invasion. Dzyadko argues that Trump is echoing Putin, arguing that there must be compromise to end the war.

“If you can't believe Putin is, do you support yourself, it must be a full-scale war and a complete surrender?” Cain asked.

“Donald Trump now makes suggestions that he makes those put forward by Putin,” Dzyadko believes. “This is a meeting held today at the White House, a meeting between Zelensky and Donald Trump, but at the same time, it is a meeting between Zelensky and Putin, as Trump changed his agenda after his meeting with Putin's Alaska and now he's talking in Putin's narrative. Maybe there may be other politicians. I don't know now, I see this is a bad road.”

“To reach a peaceful agreement requires compromise between the two parties. I can assure you that Ukraine will not accept people they think are uncompromising.” “Today, I hope we can move in this direction, but we are no longer just talking about who is speaking for Putin rather than who.”

Will Cain: Well, Tikhon, like a quick follow-up here, I understand your suspicion. Similarly, you and I have spoken several times. It's not that it won't take you toward anything – you won't believe in any agreements for peace? Like, if you can't trust Putin, I just don't know this will support you. Are you supporting yourself, which must be a full-scale war and a complete surrender?

Tikhon Dzyadko: OK, look, that's the truth. You can't trust Putin because Putin lies. And I spent 37 years in Russia. Unfortunately, after the invasion began, I was forced to leave Russia, but I knew who he was. He is the leader of Russia for more than 20, 25 years. Next, when we talk about the war, of course, we see here that Ukraine is not winning. At the same time, we can't see Russia winning. Donald Trump now makes suggestions, he puts forward what Putin makes. Today is a meeting at the White House, a meeting between Zelensky and Donald Trump, but at the same time, it is a meeting between Zelensky and Putin, as Trump changed his agenda after his Alaska meeting with Putin, and now he speaks in Putin's narrative. Maybe there might be another way. I'm not a politician, but what I'm seeing now is that it's a bad road.

Cain: Ticken, I always appreciate your comments and your personal experience, but I have seven or eight European leaders sitting there with President Trump today. It has to be a moment where we have more hope than simply suggesting that Donald Trump is Vladimir Putin's voice today. A peace agreement requires compromise between the two parties. I can assure you that Ukraine will not accept people they think are uncompromising. Today, I hope we can move in this direction, but we are no longer just talking about who is speaking for Putin rather than who.
