First on Fox: Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The two men squared the gap and 100 push-ups in less than five minutes, surrounded by military members of the Navy and Marine Corps.

“Today we held a big Pete and Bobby challenge with 50 push-ups. 100 push-ups,” Kennedy said in typical jeans and a T-shirt.

The challenge is because Kennedy released the campaign to “make America healthy again”, which includes promoting Americans to eat whole foods and processed meals, while Hegseth Rallies Rallies is the most suitable American military to handle defending the country.

Hegseth posted on X the title of X announcing two-thirds of the military, “Totally unacceptable.” “It’s what happens when the standards are ignored – that’s what we are changing. The real fitness and weight standards are here. We’ll fit instead of fat.”

Two people square to see who can beat the five-minute challenge, Heggs just hit five minutes but beat Kennedy.

“We're close. I'm about 5:25,” Heggs said in the video. “You're behind me.” He refers to the 71-year-old HHS chief.

Hegseth noted that some Marines in the gym beat the challenge at the time and entered the challenge in less than four minutes, while the other completed the challenge in three minutes.

“It was President Trump who inspired us to do this,” Kennedy said in a video shared with Fox Digital. “This is the beginning of our tour, challenging Americans to get back to health, eat better, and you need to go out and exercise.”

The two also challenged another cabinet member to compete: Transport Minister Sean Duffy.

“Secretary Duffy, you were invited to the Pete and Bobby challenge. Can you do this in five minutes? 50 pull-ups, 100 push-ups. What do you think?” Heggs asked in the video as the two smiled.

President Donald Trump advocated Kennedy's efforts to encourage Americans to cut processed food and pass the Maha movement, and repeatedly touted the U.S. military as “the greatest combat power in world history under Hegseth's leadership.”

On the youth level, Trump resumed the presidential committee on sports, fitness and nutrition for U.S. school children, after former President Barack Obama retired to support the presidential youth fitness program. Trump signed an executive order in July to rebuild the program and directed the council to launch a “school-based program to reward excellence in physical education and to develop standards for the President’s Fitness Award.”
