The Washington Commander is approaching the final roster cut, and there are still several players trying to prove they deserve a position. These are three outstanding performances of the past week.
RB Demetric Felton
The commander makes tough decisions at the back position and players like Felton are not easy for them. The defender was a big part of the Golds’ offense during Tuesday’s game as he showed both the passer and the runner’s skills.
The day in Felton began when the Golds faced the fourth inning in the second drive. Felton has a connection with Sam Hartman under a deep pass, which puts the group in the scoring position. Two games later, Felton made a touchdown that was denied due to the call, but he showed off his agility and vision to get to the end of the game.
For now, Felton faces a long road toward the lineup as he is ranked seventh in the team’s informal depth list. However, beginners are expected to take limited snapshots of the Bengals, meaning Felton can at least show that he can be a practice team player in the regular season.
