It was a violent afternoon Saturday in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, and a stab wound was stabbed on Blue Mountain Avenue several hours later, shooting about a mile along the road.
Boston police say a man was stabbed outside the Stop & Shop grocery store on Blue Hill Avenue near CVS pharmacy, about 12:13 pm
According to police, the man was taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds and they were unaware of his condition.
Police said no one was arrested shortly after the stabbing as the investigation progressed.
About four hours later, police officers walked about a mile on the road after being called by a man who was gunshot wounded on Harvard Street around 4:25 p.m.
Witnesses told NBC10 Boston that they heard three to five shots.
Investigators have placed five evidence marks on the ground and are looking for surveillance videos in the area as a live investigation was conducted late Saturday.
“You know you're becoming insensitive to something like this because you're hearing a lot of information, well, okay, another,” said Boston resident Blake Rickerson. “So, it's a healthy attitude to be alert.
In this case, no arrests were made. An investigation into both incidents is still underway.
