The San Francisco 49ers announced today that the team has signed with DL Bradlee Anae, DL Bruce Hector, S Jaylen Mahoney, CB Fabian Moreau and Ol Isaiah Prince for one year. To make room on the roster, the team abandoned CB Tre Avery, WR Isaiah Neyor, QB Tanner Mordecai and Te Mason Pline and released K Greg Joseph.

Anae (6-4, 260) was originally drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft (179 overall). During his five-year career with the Cowboys (2020-22), the New York Jets (2022-25), and the Atlanta Falcons (2024), he has played in 11 games and registered for two tackles. In 2024, Anae signed with the Jets Practice Team on December 18, 2024, where he spent the rest of the season.

Anae is 26-year-old Lale, HI, who worked at the University of Utah for four years (2016-2019), where he competed in 47 games, with a total of 135 tackles, 30.0 sacks, 6 forced turnovers, 4 passes, four passes and two turnovers recovered.

Hector (6-2, 296) initially entered the NFL after signing with the Philadelphia Eagles, becoming an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018. During his seven-year career with Eagles (2018-20), Arizona Cardinals (2019), Carolina Panthers, Carolina Panthers (2020-21), Tennessee Tennessee Titans (20221) (2023) and New York Jets (2023-24), he competed in 22 games (one start) and registered for 21 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He also participated in a playoff game. In 2024, Hector competed in six games, with 10 tackles and 1.0 sacks.

A 30-year-old Tampa native in Florida spent four years (2014-17) at the University of South Florida, where he played 42 games and registered for 90 tackles, 18.0 sacks, three passes, defense and two forced grops.

Mahoney (5-11, 200) initially entered the NFL after signing with the 49ers on May 6, 2024. After being abandoned by the team on August 27, 2024, he signed the team's practice lineup the next day. He played three games with the team in 2024 and was abandoned by the team on July 31, 2025.

Mahoney, a 24-year-old, attended the University of Vanderbilt in Rock Hill, South Carolina, five years (2019-23), appeared and registered 247 tackles, 4.0 sacks, 22 passes, four interceptions, four interceptions, one forced turnover and one failure in 54 games (45 games).

Moreau (6-0, 204) was originally drafted by the Washington Commander in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft (Round 81 in total). The Prince (6-7, 305) was originally selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 6th round (202nd edition) of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has played 22 games (6 games) throughout his career with Dolphins (2019), Cincinnati Bengals (2021), Atlanta Falcons (2023), and Tennessee Titans (2024) (2024). He also competed in four playoff games with the Bangladeshi in 2021. In 2024, Prince signed the Titans practice team on October 22 after being released from the Falcons on October 22. He will continue to play a game with the Titans.

Prince, a 28-year-old, Greenbelt, Maryland, spent four years at Oho Ohio State University (2015-18), where he played 54 games (41 games). He was twice appointed to All-Big Ten (First Team – 2018; Third Team – 2017) and is a member of the Buckeyes who have won consecutive Big Ten titles (2017-18).

Avery (5-11, 185) originally signed with the team on December 30, 2024, Moldeke (6-2, 218) signed Neyor (6-4, 218) on May 6, 2024, initially signed on April 27, 2025, initially signed on April 27, 2025, initially signed on May 27 (6-7, 260). The team was on May 19, 2025.
