Denzel PerrymanTMZ learned that this is the defender of the Los Angeles charger and was arrested in Los Angeles on Friday.

NFL players were taken over by station personnel at the Southern Los Angeles Sheriff’s station on Friday night and booked a felony charge of possessing assault weapons, according to law enforcement sources.

We were told that when the police searched his car, he was entering the range of the gun and found 2 AR rifles and 3 pistols in his trunk – the rifle was non-compliant and illegal in California.

He is still in jail as of Saturday morning and will appear in court on Tuesday. This is Denzel's first felony charge.

Fans may remember that he had trouble with NFL rules in 2023 and was suspended without paying for 3 games due to repeated violations of player safety rules. He was with the Houston Texans at the time.

Denzel was first drafted by San Diego in 2015 and later became La Chargers. He played for the team for 6 years before being signed by the Carolina Panthers. But, a few months later, he was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders and then signed by the Texans in 2023.

He returned to the charger in 2024.

TMZ commented to his team… so far, no news.
