5 arrested in Glenpool hotel sting operation

  • by admin

Five men, one of whom was a local pastor, were arrested in a sting operation at a Glenpool hotel, police said.

The sting operation took place Thursday night and resulted in the arrest of 30-year-old Rohan BhoJwanti of Tulsa. Matthew Eddy, 28, of Tulsa; David Raridon, 60, of Missouri; Christopher LeBleu, 54, of Louisiana; and Jeremy Fair, 49, of Tulsa. All but Raritan were arrested for soliciting prostitution. Raritan was arrested on suspicion of solicitation of a minor. All five are being held at the Tulsa County Jail.

Police said contact with the men began online and turned into text messages before they arrived at the Comfort Inn.

Fair was a pastor, most recently at Christ Presbyterian Church in Tulsa. He has since been removed from the church website. A statement from the church said he was placed on indefinite leave.

Others' careers reportedly ranged from firefighters to business owners to school district financial managers.

“I don't think we as law enforcement are often surprised by the people we encounter and their history,” said Glenpool Police Chief Jeremy Plane. “I think the public is sometimes surprised that community leaders are involved in anything nefarious; unfortunately, 23 years of experience has taught me that you never know.”

Plane held a press conference on the operation on Friday. You can watch it below.
